Root Disease Identification and Management field tour Sept. 28 in Marcola
EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon State University Extension Service of Lane County will offer a field tour on “Root Disease Identification and Management.”
The tour will be held Thursday, September 28, from 5:30–7 p.m. in Marcola.
The event will include information for woodland owners and natural resource professionals on how to identify common root diseases, observe root disease symptoms in typical Douglas-fir forests, and develop management strategies to reduce the impact of root diseases.
Speakers include David Shaw, OSU Extension Forest Health Specialist and Lauren Grand, OSU Extension Forester.
The cost to attend is $15 per family/partnership.
