Police: Tips from public helped officers make arrests in ID theft case

EUGENE, Ore. - Police said tips from the public led them to suspects in an identity theft case this month.

Eugene Police posted a photo of the "persons of interest" on Facebook on January 2.

Tips from the public led investigators to arrest Thomas Emanuel Parrish III, 43, and Ann Marie Taylor, 42, on three counts of Identity Theft and three counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

Parrish also faces an additional charge of Theft in the First Degree for the selling an item purchased with a stolen credit card, police said.

"Thank you to the public for their help in identifying these suspects," Eugene Police said in a statement.
