Police seek information on shots fired near South Eugene High School

EUGENE, Ore. – The Eugene Police Department is investigating an incident of shots fired near South Eugene High School Sunday morning.

Police say they received several calls reporting shots fired at 275 E. 19th Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found bullet casings in the roadway and bullet damage on the building at 275 E. 19th Avenue.

Neighbors reported hearing tires screeching shortly after the shots were fired.

Police say no one was injured.
