Police investigate after two toddlers found alone in McMinnville after midnight

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The McMinnville Police Department says a concerned citizen found two toddlers wandering around a neighborhood shortly after midnight Thursday.

Police say the citizen called authorities around 12:20 a.m. after finding the toddlers in the 1300 block of 27th Street.

One of the boys was wearing dark pajama pants and a shirt with a firetruck on it. The other toddler was wearing blue and green striped pajama pants with a white and blue shirt.

After investigating, police located the parents Thursday morning.

Officers say the investigation is ongoing.
