Ahead of Veterans Day, Monster.com, an online job site, ranked the best companies for veterans.

These companies recruit members of the armed services and businesses that use ex-military members’ skills and work to retain them.

At the top is Man Tech International – a tech company for national security programs.

Several defense companies and contractors are on the list.

USAA, a financial services company for military members and their families, also made the list.

Transportation and manufacturing companies including Union Pacific Railroad and Boeing, ranked ninth and 10th.
