Medford gets a new mother in time for Mother's Day
MEDFORD, Ore. - Mother's Day got a whole new meaning for one Medford family.
At 8:39p.m. Saturday night at Providence Birthplace, little Louis Leffler was born at 7lbs 3.5 oz.
Mom and dad who are used to celebrating mother's day honoring their mothers and grandmothers say this will be a completely new experience for them.
"It's something we'll be able to always share together and always remember," mother Renee Leffler said.
"I feel like my family is whole again. It's given me a whole new outlook on Mother's Day. Not just that, I can appreciate my own mother but I can now appreciate my wife and my son," Shelby Leffler said.
Renee Leffler was in labor for 12 hours before saying hello to her happy healthy baby.
Baby Louis Leffler has a mom, grandma and a great grandma too.
