Lip Sync Battle benefits Relief Nursery
EUGENE, Ore. - Crews took to the stage of the Hi-Fi Music Hall on Thursday in a lip sync battle to benefit the Relief Nursery parent education program.
The crews were made up of local business and community leaders - and even some of the Eugene Emeralds players
"We reach out to other young professionals in the community to introduce them to the good work that Relief Nursery does, and one of the fun things we get to do is brainstorm new ways to engage the community and so lip sync battle is one of our experiments," said Genevieve Sumnall from the Relief Nursery board.
All proceeds from the event will help families cover the cost of transportation and 10-week parenting classes.
Classes focus on helping parents develop a deeper understanding of their children and establishing better parent-child relationships.
