“Goodwill relies on the donations we receive from our generous community," said Libby Steffen-Schafermeyer, spokesperson for Goodwill. "The money we receive from the sale of these donations fund the services we provide. Ninety cents of every dollar goes back into the free mission services we provide to the community. In 2016 we served over 7,000 people and we have served over 8,000 so far in 2017. The two recent break-ins at our Santa Clara store have caused significant losses in both product and property damage. We want the perpetrator brought to justice for stealing from our community."
Goodwill asks anyone with information about the thefts to contact Eugene Police or call the Goodwill Loss Prevention Manager at (541) 762-0592.
