Memorial account opened to help family after death of Meadow Boyd
ROGUE RIVER, Ore. —
Just two days after Meadow Boyd was struck and killed by a passing vehicle, a Rogue River family has opened an account to memorialize the 13-year-old and help her family during this difficult time.
The mom who opened the account requested to remain anonymous because, she says, growing up in this community she has learned when there is a need, you do your best to help to fill that need.
Anybody interested in giving to the family can do so at any Umpqua Bank. The account is called Meadow Boyd Memory Account. The money will go towards any needs the family has at this time.
If you would like to donate online, a GoFundMe was also set up to help the family.
Boyd was possibly struck and killed on Monday along East Evans Creek Road in Rogue River.
