Fire Update: Red Flag Warning issued throughout Lane County

EUGENE, Ore. - A Red Flag Warning is in effect and has been extended through Tuesday due to dry conditions and near-record temperatures.

The humidity at high elevations remains low, and is not expected to increase until Wednesday evening, when thunderstorms become possible.

Smoke from the Jones, Rebel and Horse Creek Complex fires continue to impact the communities of Oakridge and McKenzie Bridge, and can be seen throughout the Willamette Valley.

There is a Horse Creek Complex and Rebel Fire community meeting on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. located at the McKenzie Community Center.
