Fire at Premier RV in Junction City: 40-50 vehicles and millions of dollars in damages
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - Firefighters responded to an industrial fire on East 1st Avenue on Sunday morning.
The fire started at Premier RV Services in Junction City, where approximately 40-50 recreation vehicles are stored.
Officials received a fire alarm call at 2:41 a.m. on Sunday morning, and several fire crews responded to control the burn. Officials say that crews were able to get the burn under control at approximately 8:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials suspect that there will be millions of dollars worth of damage as a result of the fire.
Six RV's have been burned completely down to the frame, with the other remaining vehicles possibly inoperable due to smoke and other fire damage.
Firefighters closed E. 1st Avenue from Birch to Front.
