Eugene woman asks for public's help in search for stolen companion dog
EUGENE, Ore. -- A Eugene woman is asking for the public's help after she says a man stole her companion dog from her back yard.
Alejandra Dayton says her companion dog, Lilly, helped her with stress from Crohn's disease.
Two weeks ago, Dayton said her dog was taken from the backyard of her home in the Barger area.
Now, Dayton is asking for the public's help.
She said every day that Lilly isn't home the stress from the Crohn's disease gets worse.
"I felt really violated and really scared that I'm never going to see her again," Dayton said.
Lilly is described as a small Pomeranian mix.
