Eugene teenagers take advantage of demand for eclipse glasses

The Bourdreaux siblings are selling eclipse viewing glasses, which are in high demand with the eclipse on Monday.

EUGENE, Ore. - Eclipse glasses are still in high demand, with many stores already sold out.

But if you are still looking for a pair, two Eugene teenagers have you covered.

For the past two weeks, the Boudreaux siblings have sold hundreds of eclipse glasses on River Road in Eugene.

The teenagers say they ran out of inventory on three separate occasions. Yesterday, however, they received a new shipment of more than 1,000 glasses to sell to the public.

"It's been really good actually, especially the last couple of days since people have either realized they got fake ones, or they haven't gotten them yet," said Kaiya Bourdreaux.

These glasses are a little bit more expensive compared to retail stores, selling for $6 each.

Tomorrow is their last day selling the glasses if supplies last, and they're located at River Road and Thomas Lane.
