Eugene Science Factory holds Holiday Open House
EUGENE, Ore. - It was one of the busiest days of the year for the Science Factory in Eugene, when the museum held their Holiday Open House, welcoming all free of charge, giving families the opportunity for fun and a learning experience.
Science Factory employees say it's important to give back to the community around this time of year, and with the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, it gives families a chance to do something different.
"We like to offer this to our community as an opportunity for them to come here and experience what we have here, it's a gift for the year for them," said Haley Sharp, the Planetarium Director at the Science Factory.
The Science Factory opens again tomorrow on normal business hours.
