Court date set for Ducks assistant football coach arrested on DUII charges
EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon assistant football coach arrested on DUII charges Sunday morning will appear in Eugene municipal court Wednesday.
Police pulled John David Reaves over near 10th Avenue and Willamette Street just after 2 a.m. He’s charged with DUII, reckless driving, and reckless endangering.
Eugene Police said he committed multiple traffic violations before they stopped him.
The city prosecutor will make a decision on which charges to file in the next few days.
Reaves posted bail and was released from Jail Sunday.
The university said they’re in the process of firing Reaves.
He was hired on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017.
