EUGENE, Ore. - The body found on a beach north of Florence on Saturday has been identified as one of the fishermen missing since the Eagle III sank in Coos Bay on January 19.

The Lane County Medical Examiner identified the body as 31-year-old Joshua W. Paulus based on his fingerprints and stature.

Paulus and Danny Matlock, 37, were lost after the Eagle III capsized near the North Jetty of Coos Bay. Matlock remains unaccounted for 3 weeks after the tragedy.

A Coast Guard helicopter located the body of 52-year-old Blaine Steinmetz on the jetty. The Eagle III's skipper Glenn Burkhow landed on the jetty and walked to shore for help.

A week later, the Sara Jo set out to collect crab pots left out by the Eagle III. The vessel lost power and capsized on the Coos Bay bar. Crew member Raymundo Cardoso, 46, died from his injuries.
