Arraignment for football coach accused of DUI postponed
EUGENE, Ore. - An attorney representing an Oregon football coach accused of drunken driving asked the court to reschedule his client's arraignment.
David Reaves is on administrative leave from his job as co-offensive coordinator of the Ducks.
Reaves was a recent addition to the coaching staff under new head coach Willie Taggart.
The athletic department has said it is moving to fire Reaves.
Hugh Duvall, an attorney representing Reaves, appeared in Eugene Municipal Court on Wednesday. He asked the court to push the arraignment back to February 13.
Reaves was on the docket on charges of DUI, reckless driving, reckless endangering, failure to drive within lane, improper left turn, failure to obey a traffic control device and refusing a test for intoxicants.
