Puppies born to dogs rescued from hoarder available for adoption Friday

"They've been spayed and neutered," said Sasha Elliott with Greenhill. "They're up to date on all vaccinations, and we're looking to find loving homes for them for the holidays." (Submitted)

EUGENE, Ore. - Greenhill Humane Society took custody of 98 small dogs rescued from a hoarder in west Lane County this year.

That number became 111 after some of the dogs had puppies.

Nearly all of the chihuahuas have been adopted out by Greenhill Humane Society, including some of the puppies.

Two more will be up for adoption on Friday.

"They've been spayed and neutered," said Sasha Elliott with Greenhill. "They're up to date on all vaccinations, and we're looking to find loving homes for them for the holidays."

Greenhill is closed on Thursdays but re-opens Friday at 11 a.m. for anyone who wants to meet the pups.
